Yesterday I attended a smaller show at the Shawnigan Lake school. Leaving home, it was pretty miserable looking outside. The show was about an hour south, so I figured I'd see how it was there. I got there and the skies were grey, but no rain. Not until 1:30 at least, when it poured. The ragtops were first to leave, then people piled out behind them. Me along with half the other car owners waited it out until about 2:30, then headed out. On the way home, I hit a section of rain that was so thick I couldn't even see the road. Oh yeah, my lower left part of the windshield definitely leaks.
Anyways, here's some pics. Saw a few people I knew. I like this show because it's a lot of cars you don't see every day.

The grounds as you drive through the school.

Met this guy since he was parked next to me. He bought the car last year from a collector, it's a '64 Sport Fury, 383 4 speed.

Cool '63 Chrysler 300. Not a J. The owner got it through a trade, was trying to sell it at the show. Neat to see them around, I've got a '64 300.

Now, I'm not a Vette guy, but from my little knowledge of them, aren't the '63 split window vette's the rarest? And we have... 4 of them at this one small show?

This car was pretty cool.. '65 Sport Fury, 426 4 bbl, 4 speed, all documented by Galen Govier.

Gotta like seeing a Henry J.

Check out the homemade intake.

This Challenger was owned by a guy in a wheelchair, and had all the hand controls.
