225 bogs taking off from stop while hot

I currently have the EGR disconnected

That's fine, don't fret about it. Just leave it disabled unless you have uncontrollable spark knock and can't get rid of it without an ignition timing setting that makes other problems.

My car didn’t have/come with the head mounted vacuum amplifier

It was built with one; that's how the Chrysler EGR systems of that time were designed. Someone took it off.

Donno. Could be a Holley plant…could be a rebuilder's mark.

The non-A/C carb won't have a throttle kicker solenoid to bump the idle up when the A/C compressor kicks on.
I figured maybe the plant, it’s raised, not stamped, I’m not really concerned about it means the carb works so far.

I figured that about the kicker, luckily the AC doesn’t work right now so it’s not a cause for concern until I get that working hopefully next spring

No spark knock or other problems. I’m almost certain the EGR’s got a slight leak though but it doesn’t affect how it runs or idles currently with how the carb is adjusted.

I’m not too worried about the amplifier right now, I’ll worry about it when I go to redo the engine bay. I more just wanted to get the car running right so I can do the body work it needs before the weather gets cold and wet.
