Will a 265 oil pan work in my 66 valiant? (Slant 6)

need a little help here, are you talking about an OZ Hemi Six?

No....the Hemi 6 sump is longer than the slant 6 sump.

265 is slam different than a slant.

Here's a pic of 3 engine blocks..letf to right....a 225 slant, a 245 Hemi, and a Holden 202.
The 245 and the 202 have 7 main bearings.

Not to mention the hemi sump is a little less crooked then the slant six sump.
