273 adjustable rocker conundrum..

I just used regulars nuts as a test. I realize the adjuster ones are half the thickness.
It seems like even hand threading the tap in has loosened the threads on the rocker. I dont trust it to stay "put" by itself now.
I contacted RAU and they have jamnuts cheap enough, but they arent telling me whether grade 8 or not.....
Thanks for pointing put the adjuster ball also.

Those don't look like adjuster nuts but just regular nuts.

Couple of observations.
- might be the pic, but the adjuster ball looks quite pitted from corrosion.
- with the thick nut, very little wriggle room left for adjustment.
- top of the p'rod cup might contact the rocker at max lobe lift.
