I have a 1966/67 273 cast iron 4 bbl intake, part # 2536771 which is the CAP intake and I was thinking about putting the # 4122S Carter AFB on it if I can locate one. I was wondering if this combo was any good, I just like the idea of up-grading the correct year parts on my 1966 273. I do not race the car or even get to crazy with it, I am just up-grading for a little better performance. I have been told to go with a 600 or 650 CFM carb, my 273 is mostly stock, with a mild street cam and I will eventually install a 2400 stall converter. It does not have headers, the 904 trans is fresh, and I just installed the 8 3/4 rear end with a 355 sure grip. If any one knows of some other good carbs that I should consider please let me know.
