273 parts swap questions,intake,dist,starter

I've got a 67 273 commando that I want to switch to electronic ignition.Can I take a system off an 80's318 or 360? What can I take a small starter off of that will work with my engine. Is an edelbrock performer a good choice for this motor? Already have a 600 holley. If not what is a good intake for this motor? Thanks in advance. Greg.

hi a small block mopar is a small block mopar, in other words, yes they will fit.

Electronic Distributor and ignition parts will fit from 72 newer. Just dont get a lean burn distributor or electronic spark control (ESC). The small starters can be found on many Cars. I got one from a 78 or 79 Diplomat, one from a Dakota and one from a D150 for my cars. Just check under the hoods at the wrecking yards. The Edelbrock Performer depends on what you want your engine to do and what other mods you will be making or have made. Is your 600 a spreadbore?

Just make sure your heads are 67, the early 273 heads and intakes have a different bolt angle and won't inner change with the newer small blocks.
