273 stroked

Hi All,

Has anybody ever stroked a 273 using a 360 crank??? I know it has been done to 318's.

I am about to build another 360 with a stroker crank & though I have to also rebuild the old 273 for my old 39 Dodge hotrod....I have a spare 360 crack so can it go in the 273 I say to myself hhmmm.

I'm just having one of those moments woundering weather it would be worth while doing or not.

A lot more material to remove from the bottom of the bores to clear the rods.

Could use the lil floater rods, with that light weight piston matched with 4'' of stroke....it should even out good w/good bolts

IT'd have torque ..but it'll only be 331cid or so..
