2bbl conversion help

I know this gets asked a lot, but I thought I'd ask once more. Which is the better carb to go with out of the original 2bbl carbs for the slant? I've heard and am leaning towards the Holley right now. Also, I know that a common way of going about setting up the linkage that has to be changed is to order through lokar. Does anyone know what to got from them in terms of all of the linkage parts? Is there anything I'll need that I can't get from them for the setup? Also, if you went with Lokar for your setup, could you post some pictures of the linkage setup so I can get a good idea of how to set it all up? Thanks guys.

the best carb or the carb that worked great for me and performed great was the holley 2280 had great response and mileage i had the carter bbs but didnt perform that well and was always rich.
