3.79 stroke crankshaft thread

How come, seems to be safer all the way to a 4 inch stroke, pistons need some skirt length if you want it to last many years-and be driven alot without burning oil

Though I can't speak from personal experience, IMO the 3.79 crank is a 'better' stroke than the 4". It always looked good on paper to me, just seems like the optimal combo for our small blocks, especially for higher RPM.

The W2 340 in my Duster goes to 7K, imagine running that RPM with more cubes!
