Let me start by saying there is local charity thing called Mom Prom where a bunch of middle aged females get all done up and go out to a local place and have dinner, dance, drink and have raffles and such to raise money for charity. My wife and some of her family and friends go every year and she gets a hotel room so, if she has been drinking she stays the night.

Since 2 of my closest friends wives are also going, I looked at the local cruise/show schedule and just so happens there are 3 cruises going on the same day at different times!! I told my friends that I propose a gentleman's morning, afternoon and, evening out and, 3 guys, 3 cars and 3 cruise ins. I will be in my Challenger, one friend will be in my Duster and, the 3rd will be in his Duster...Stay tuned to see if we actually attend all three and, hopefully plenty of photos...and fun just driving old junk and hanging with great friends!! I will start with pictures of the junk we will be driving.

Sounds to me like the women will be getting into way more trouble if they need a hotel rather than an uber or cab.

I'd like to see you park that big yellow one in that garage. That would fun to watch that pull into a cruize at a little coffee shop lot full of import super cars.

So, the day started out with the yellow Duster not making the first cruise as, we had spent some time recently putting a tubular k frame and tubular upper control arms in it along with all new suspension parts in it and, we didn't have a chance to drive it after trying to get it some what aligned well enough to drive it on Saturday. It had a violent pull to the right so, he rode with me.

That minivan boat thing is hilarious.

We headed to what was supposed to be the location of the 2nd cruise and.......nothing was going on!!! Must have gotten canceled. We headed over to a local drive in style restaurant and had lunch instead. Since we had a bunch of time to kill before the last event of the day we decided to go back to my friends house to get his car driveable so he could drive it to the last event.

So, after some adjustments and test runs we headed out to the last event. We hung out for a bit just talking, eating and, having a great time. Any day driving around in old junk is a great day!!

I love that yellow duster with painted wheels and dog dish caps. And usually I don’t like painted bumpers but it looks right on that car/color.

His car is SAWEET!!! It's got a 408 with a six barrel set up we built for it and it's pretty nasty. I painted the wheels and hood that's on it. We put a gear vendors in it last spring also. He just needs to drive it more.

I like the Duster a lot. The heads and intake painted with the engine is very cool indeed. The covers are nice also
