3 speed manual problems. please help.

'63 valiant 170 /6 3 speed manual on column. So, i was accelerating around a corner and heard a horrible noise clank sound. Got home, popped hood. Notice small hole in bellhousing. ???????? What the heck????

Get in there with a mirror and flashlight and check clutch-pack bolts, check other bolts, nuts, washers etc in the bellhousing area. Sounds like something in the bellhousing confines broke loose. You would be amazed at the damage a bolt or nut can do flying loose at those rpm's. May be worth investigating. Best of luck man.

I picked up a a745 3 speed transmission for my 1964 dodge dart 170. I want to replace the rear seal but all the parts I order won't fit? Seal dimensions are 1.15X1.68X.437. Does anyone know where I can purchase this seal? thanks in advance
