I have a 1973 Dart with the original 318. It has 46K miles and it purrs like a kitten; however, the heads need seals and valve guides. I was thinking about replacing he stock heads with a set of 302 heads. Will these heads bolt right on and run without any modifications other than plugging the air injection ports?

This is a street car and I am building it to drive. The car does have an Edelbrock manifold and 4BBL carb. I will eventually put a mild cam in. Has anyone out there done this? If so, how did it go, how did it run, and did any major modifications have to be done to make them fit and run right?

Thanks

These heads should bolt right on, as far as I know.....they ARE 318 heads after all. I have a set for sale, completely redone. So.Cal....$375/pair, good shape, no repairs.

my (then) 42K mile 318 (now with barely 47K on it) had guide seal issues; I replaced just the seals w/o pulling the heads and no mre oil control problem.
