Hi, need to get some new headers, think the old one are heddman. Does the engine have to be removed to fit them??????????? Or any other parts??? So hope not, Thanks Gary

I don't think I'd by Hedman again. I bought a new pair for my 67, here was the deal
First, they clearly say in the destructions that ANY modifications voids the warranty, and they KNOW you are going to have to modify them
On my dart, they hit the pan rail of a Milodon "factory replacement" pan on the right side, as well as the torsion bar on the right side
On the left, I had to dent for the MANUAL steering (you can NOT use power steering) as well as the steering link. The top rear tube hit the steering column jacket
But THAT is not the worst. I DID NOT REALIZE that the painted headers were painted with LOW TEMP paint until they arrived. It took me HOURS to strip that crap off them so I could RE paiint them with hi- temp paint.
I do NOT understand why they either just oil them for shipment, or simply use hi-temp paint. You could re-spray the scratched areas from shipping.
