318 or 340 Question?

So here goes. I have a crack in my Slant Six block I have asked about having it fixed and it is EXPENSIVE ($69.00 an inch) so I am considering dropping a 318 or 340 into my 65 Barracuda when the Slant kicks it.

Here is my question How hard is it to do? Are there any pitfalls? Can I use the existing accelerator rod or do I need to change to a cable and trans kick down linkage? Anything you guys can give me before I make my decision would be awesome.
 
I am not familiar with MMW what and where is it? Anything is possible I own my own business.

That would not be awesome. I can see what I can do but it is coming up fast. I am not opposed to rebuilding mine.

Sorry I am an idiot I meant to say it would be awesome.
 
Well just shoot me a PM if you figure it out. I have the complete motor but its torn down so if you wanted just the block, pistons, and crank that would be possible.
It was actually pulled out of a 65 as well.
 
I will definitely let you know. I went ahead and posted an ad in the parts wanted also maybe some other kind soul will be willing to donate. Can't hurt to ask.
