I have one of those harbor freight stands.
They hold, but damn, rotating it with a fully assembled smallblock on it is enough to make one **** out a ********.
That 2000lb one looks great!
Reason being, when you're putting things together, you're using oil and assembly lube...there's a good space underneath to put a drip pan and it looks a hell of a lot stronger. For 99 bucks man, that's a good deal.
The cheaper ones will indeed work, but I can't say my experience with mine has been pleasureable.
