I have a 75 duster, had 8.25 rear bbp, now with 8.75 bbp. I am currently running 275 60/15 tires on 8” rims but I want wider tires. Can I fit a 325 50/15 tire on this car with some backspacing? Can I use my existing 8” wheel or would I need to move up to a 9” wheel?
In addition, I just purchased ss springs but they are not installed yet. They may make the car sit a bit higher. Will that make enough room for the 325 50/15 tire?
Will I need to move the springs (Dr. Diff spring location kit) to get the 325 50/15 in?
I am just trying to plan this out so that once it’s done, all is in place for a wider tire.
Any help provided would be greatly appreciated.
