Block is hidden some where in Portland, Oregon some where if found let me know I have fresh 340 to trade or partial.
 
I have a 340 that came in my Dart, just across the river from Portland in Vancouver. Where are the numbers on the block? It's in the car so I can't just roll it out for a look.

I think it should be on right side between oil pan and the block retagalur flat shape if not there and check on driver side .
 
Also driver side front between head and block next to water pump housing

yeah, you actually have to get under the car.
 
I did find the block number last night. Sorry, it is not the one you are looking for.
