Left side front-FW340P30550193
Mfg Date-5-26-69- Is this a 69 or 70 block?

3055 = built Dec 8, 1969

0193 = 193rd engine that day

That's an odd one? Block cast 5/69, not final assembled til 12/69?

X2. I have seen casting numbers as much as 2 YEARS prior to final assembly date of the engine. When you have thousands of blocks cast, some invariably get pushed aside, only to be retrieved and machined / assembled at later date.
