I am starting to gather parts to build my 340. The block is a 69 bored .030. I have my eye on some TRW 2316 pistons from another member here. I will either be using a set of X heads or some worked over J heads with 2.02/1.60 valves. I have an Edelbrock RPM Airgap intake and Holley 750 carb. I am not sure what cam to go with. I was thinking about going with a solid cam and lifter setup otherwise Comp Cams XE268H. One question I have is will the adjustable rockers from a 273 work with the solid setup or will I have to get different rockers? I have the 273 rockers and new pushrods from a previous build so it would be nice if they would work. The car is a 73 Duster with a 4 speed 3.23 sure grip. I don't plan on seeing any track time, just street use and serious tire shredding. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks in advance.

They will work, make sure you only have one or two threads showing when it's adjusted ideally
