Does it have hi stall stamped on it? I am interested if it does. Maybe we can trade some carburetor work or something?

the only stamp i see is the ''D'' by the balance weights, i've never seen one stamped ''hi-stall'' all i know is it was bought from re-con for a 340.

Yes. All the factory hi stalls were stamped.

Let me do some research on it. I have an old friend across town that has some literature I forgot about. It has all kinda codes in it.

it should if you removed the balance weights,just so it,s a '67 or newer trans,that's when they went to a 24 spline input shaft.

no.360's used different weights

just chisel or grind off the two weights and it's neutral balance and will fit any non-lock-up 727 '67 and up paypal as a gift or add 2.00
