1976 340 Feather Duster
The only way I have been cranking the duster is to run one wire from the positive terminal of the battery to the neutral safety switch, where the starter wire connects. I touch these two wires together to crank it, but for some reason it wouldn’t crank today. I checked all the wires and couldn’t find any problem. I replaced most of the fuses and the two wires that I touch together. It still isn’t working. It seems like it’s the starter, but it’s less than a few months old. Does anyone have any recommendations?
P.s. it quit working when I was trying to hook a switch up that was connected to the two wires that I touch together. Idk if that messed it up, but there was spark when I would touch them together, but now there’s no spark at all.
