I have this flywheel of unknown origin that I'm trying to identify, the guy I got if from told me if was from a small block, most likely a 340 but did'nt know what year.

Anyways,it has 130 teeth and looks like it would take a 10.5" clutch so that's a good sign but after I saw this diagram in another thread here it looks like it might be for a 73 340 going by the drilled hole on it.Does anyone on here have one of those and does this one look the same?

I'd imagine it would have the same casting # as a neutral balanced wheel and the only difference is the drilled hole,is that correct?

That appears to be a cast crank flywheel. Just have it neutral balanced.

Actually that's somewhat good news if it is as I've got a disassembled 73 340 in my garage so I have the option of building if for a stick car if I want.
