I appreciate the honesty. Im not a motor guy so im not sure how many times they can be alignbored? Once you swap maincaps i here its a must!
 
are you sure? the bolts for the SB mopar windage trays that I have seen are for the tapped (2) main cap bolts, 4 total bolts for two main caps. I thought the only oem 4 bolt mains are cross bolted hemi blocks.
 
what I am saying is 340s had 4 special main cap bolts, that bolted down the #2 and #4 main caps, for the windage tray

They cut a little off of the face, then there is meat to re-do the bore... That way they can bring the bore back to original size...

You can keep doing it theoretically until the cap gets too short...
