I know much ink has been spilled about whether it is worth it, hp-wise, but we put the 340 manifolds on my '73 Duster today.
I have to say... the extra space they afford is worth it right there. It is way easier to get to the sparkplugs and that makes my life easier. The driver side does contact the steering box and I had to pull the front stud to mount it but I think it is well worth it.
Since I'm not building this car for maximum horsepower (not doing heads or a cam), the manifolds are going to do just fine. Big thanks to Bruce for the manifolds and also advice on gaskets.
Gonna be a pretty loud ride to the muffler shop to get new pipes, though!
