340 Rear Main Oil Seal

Need to replace the rear main oil seal in my 1969 LA 340 that is leaking.
Which is the best seal to use that hopefully will not leak.
Installation tricks?

I believe that I have a Felpro BS 40245 in mine. Make sure it's the rear main and not the pan leaking. Dab of silicone on the seal ends and a very thin smear of silicone across the main cap from the seal out. From there it's getting the pan gasket sealed.

Isn't there a Mancini " leak proof " unit, or is that just for B /RB mills, it's the cap and seal..
