Ok so I have a 71 dodge demon 340 car,340 is coming out to get rebuilt, i wanna drop a temporary 360 from a 71 dodge dart will the motor drop in or will I have to change motormounts? Thank you!

It uses the same motor mounts and will
drop right in. But remember the 360 is externally
balanced while the 71 340 is internally balanced and
converter or flexplate must be adjusted to compensate!

The motor mounts are the same. 360s from the factory came externally balanced. Your 340 is most likely internally balanced.

Thanks,the 360 I got already has the flywheel and new clutch still on the 360 came with motor,so I should be good to drop it in and hook up the 3 speed right?

What is the teeth count on the 360 flywheel?
Probably 130.
