[WANTED] 340 Valve Covers for 70 A-Body

plus the AMD's they are not as correct as originals, plus I think they were having fitment issues again.

Those look like 69’s from amd with big wire loom channel. Pretty sure they have 70 style too

The 1970 340 passenger side valve cover had the big wire loom channel as it did in the previous two years. The 318 passenger side valve cover did not have that detail.
One big change that happen to the SB valve covers in 1970 was that the PVC was switched to the driver's side and the breather was switched to the passenger side and a separate oil filler cap was also added.
Here is a couple pictures of a 1969 passenger side 340 valve cover that I have. It was a new car take off and is still showing the factory original paint.

Cool thx for clarity. I looked close and saw that too. I have 69’s on mine. Yep 70 has the extra oil filler cap. Those are nice btw. For sale?

I'm hanging on to the valve cover for now. I wishing I have the matching driver's side to go with it.
I never understood the reason for the long wire channel on the 340 passenger valve cover.

Luckily I think that side is easier to find.

I can take a picture of original 70 valve covers still on the engine if there is any confusion on what to look for.
They still have original paint, and are in the car.
