340 ?

A lot :)

If 340 steel cranks are 4340, and it mags good, you'd probably hurt the block before the crank...but I'm sure someone will come on here and say it's not worth the risk...

Do the 340 cranks have the rolled fillets, like the big blocks? If so I'd not push much past 600 HP. My 2cents.

I have not much experience with the 340, mainly 360's. was looking at a turbo 360 stroker, but that would mean using my 360 block which has only 1500 miles on a rebuild. a mate has offered me a stripped 340 +.030 bore, so thought I would put some good rods and forged dished pistons into it + the turbo. I do know that the 340 has a steel crank std.

Crank should be good, its down to the quality of the build and parts at those powers

It will take as much horsepower as it takes to break it...

When you break your crank, then back off a little....
