For that cost just go to the junk yard and pull a 6.1 hemi

Isn't it a shame they want that much just for a block. With that kind of money I could build a mean *** 360 and lie and call it a 340. lol
 
there expensive,, just find a good 360 block for $100 or a 318 for free half the time stroke it to 408 or 390!! and as long as your going to be under the 550hp range they will last.
 
Holy crap! The R3 race block is only ten bucks more. The Hemi blocks are two hundred less. WTF?

That's true but when the car is already set up for small block its best to stay small block. Torsion bars, trans,K member , etc.... has to changed. So that's got to be added in.

A big block in a A-body has more weight in the front end so the car be a little "nosy"
