I am going to be pulling the 318 from my dart to put in a 360. my question is since i already have a good balancer and high stall conv., flexplate meant for the internal balance 318 will it work with the 360 if i put in one of the internal balance cranks from Eagle? they run about 300 and since i don't aleady have a 360 crank and if i got a stock one i would have to go buy those parts again im thinking i could save a little coin? anyone else gone this route? Johnny.

No. All you need is the B&M flexplate for the 360 non Magnum. You need the 360 harmonic dampner(balancer). The fact that a crank is designed for internal balance does not mean it's the right wieght to work with a stock assembly. It means the crank's counterweights are beefy so it can be internally balanced without needing Mallory metal. And sometimes even that isnt entirely the truth...lol. A 360 crank & bearings kit runs about $200 and will drop right in. But you'll need a 360 dampner ($100 new for non SFI or less for used) and the B&M flexplate for your neutral convertor.

Johnny, if you can use it - it's yours - as in FREE!
