While putting on the oil pan on the 5.9 Magnum, I noticed on the old engine it has the center bolt hole for the later trans. Now it makes wonder what is. Theres no mounting holes for the crank trigger.
The numbers on front of the block is: 3W 36R 4267
The casting number is: 9418496-3-360 not sure on the first digit.
Any ideas.

Thanks OG

What ?
That the mags don't have this bolt and the la sb's do?
360 R=regular fuel april 26 70-'s. w/ the other #=71-74 or even cast 70' for 71' to 74' seen 2 of those.
Really nothing to worry about.

Thanks for the info. The engine in the picture is the old 360LA out of the Duster. The 99 5.9 Magnum isn't in this picture. Just thought the Magnums had the center bolt ( just above the cam plug) . This engine never has ran right since I got the car. So I was and still thinking it just a bunch of mix match of the wrong parts .
