Quick question: I always see how people mention the early 360 blocks are good for rebuilding because of the thivk wall castings. Offered in trucks and such.

Are there any years from 1970-1990 pre-magnum 360 blocks to stay away from? Very thin wall or prone to cracking or anything like that? Or are they all pretty much the same thing?

They are all good, but some of the early ones, (72& early 73 I believe), were apparently a little thicker walled than the later ones. Before you do any machine work on any of these block, thick or thin, you should have then sonic tested for actual wall thickness.
