a little confused on this topic, are all 360's externally balanced?if so i believe the torque conveter has weights on it. does it matter which way it is mated to the flexplate? does it have to be clocked a certain way in relation to the flex plate to be in balance? if so how do you tell what is the correct way?

yes it needs a weight on the converter, unless you get the b and m flexplate with the cutaway for 360. yes they are all externaly balanced, the magnum is not the same as the la,the converter will only line up one way on the flexplate so you cant bolt it up wrong...:read:
