360 intake on 318 heads

I bought this car it has a 318 with 360 intake manifold how do I know what thermostat housing to buy for it?

It seems to me that if the manifold is off a 360 and the thermo. is in that manifold one would buy one for a 360 manifold. DUH.

So I just go to the parts store and tell them I need thermostat for 360 intake? Year makes no difference?

tell the parts guy you need a 1979-up 360 thermostat housing. i believe this is the same housing as for a chevy small-block engine. same thing for the thermostat. prior to 1979, the thermostat and housing were bigger.
