Hey fellas, I've been piecing together the basket case '72 Scamp I bought a few months ago and I'm about ready to drop the engine in. It's a 360 out of a '77 Dodge van. I put the correct oil pan on it, but I'm not sure if these motor mounts are right for the Scamp. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

those look like truck mounts. to tall for an a body. you need something like these.

I took a look at the Mancini's and the Schumacher's (those poly locks are sweet) but they are WAY out of my budget. If that's all that's available I'll just have to fabricate my own. I can cut up the van mounts that I have and make 'em work with the Scamp.

i think i can set you up with something, i have a few set for a 318 but they will work with your 360. pm me

You really only need a Poly lock on the drivers side (contrary to Schumaker's proclamation) so if you find a buddy to go in with like I did it only costs half. We bought a set and split the cost. I got one mount and he got the other. We're both happy.:-D

I had new motor mounts when I dropped my motor in, and it was 3/16" too low.

So here are some " Installation Instructions " for locating your engine in the chassis to factory specs., if anyone wants it. It's from the TTI Exhaust Hedder web site, for an A Body w/340 Small Block, others are listed.
