360 Oil Filter Adapter Plate

I have a '74 360 and am using a 90* oil filter adapter. I don't believe that I need or can use the oil filter adapter plate. I need a conformation from FABO gurus.

Remove the flat plate.

If you do reuse it later. Drill the holes to the next size and put an extra hole in between each one.

Now deburr your 90° adapter before you use it.
