I'm looking at buying a set of TRW-L2405 pistons for a pretty good price. They are forged but dished. I was going to zero-deck my motor anyways so I figure that will bump the compression back up some. But, would it raise it enough? I'm probally going to be using a set of 308 heads. I'm not sure what CC they are. I'm wanting to run a pretty good size cam(.520ish?) so I would need valve notches cut. Can most machine shops do this? I know hensley racing can and they aren't that far away. I would alot rather have forged pistons instead of KBs.

According to the Mopar engine book the 308's have the largest chamber of the stock heads. I don't remember specifically but it is the the mid to high 70's.

My 308's clock in @ 72 cc.
Zero decking may not be the answer, but helpful in what your trying to do.

Proper piston selection is what really needs to be addressed.

KB's will be you best bet...they have a really nice forged line as well witht he same dimensions as the hyper line.
