I will try to measure them when I get home on Friday. They are stock replacement pistons. Thanks

I called Federal Mogul for you & the 405P is 1.576" & their tech stated that the H405P ain't a valid # & that the correct # is H405CP & it is 1.637". this jogs my memory on a prior post way back on the "C" situation but I dont recollect what was posted. RR EDIT cast or moly rings?

Thank you. I took some dial caliper measurements, and got 1.641 on the forged piston and 1.576 on the cast. The Hasting rings are #139 and unopened. My guess is that they are cast. The forged set has the rings already installed on the pistons. My guess is that they are cast also.

the KB h405cp are hypers, a step above cast but are not forged. The "C" might note a Duroshield "coated" skirt, whatever that is but I assume it is a good thing. is the top ring shiney & the 2nd one dull? if so then that is a Moly set.
