[WANTED] 361 block

Im looking for a good 361 block or entire engine. I bought a set of 30 over pistons to rebuild one and it turned out the block I had wasn’t any good. I don’t care what year it is or what it came out of as long as it will clean up at .030. I live about an hour south of Kansas City and will come pick it up... so the closer the better. Thank you

Be careful when looking at the 361 blocks, I think the industrial blocks are different.

Any reason why you think an industrial one wouldn’t work? I took apart an industrial 413 and the block itself was not any different than a regular one.... it did look like it had extra ribbing on the exterior water jacket area.

I think some of the very early 361 blocks were different from passenger car & truck blocks. I do not know this to be fact, but somewhere in my old memory banks a friend of mine tried to use an industrial block & it didn't work out.
