I acquired this engine several weeks ago. It turns freely and is not seized, but I have not cranked it or heard it run. Unknown compression psi. I was told it was rebuild and had the crank machined as well. It has been garage kept before and since I acquired it. It has cast iron heads (24066167 casting numbers). The block casting number (2468130 - 1 LL) and date 5/26/65 indicate it is a 1965 383 Block. It comes equipped with an aluminum Edelbrock “Performer” dual plane intake manifold and an additional aluminum Edelbrock single plane “Torker” intake manifold. Great swap for an A body Mopar. I’m selling it to get the money to buy a set of aluminum heads for my 440 build.
Asking $1,500 OBO but would consider a trade for a good set of aluminum 440 heads.
