383 bolt dressing

hey guys i am rebuilding my 68 383, and wondering if any bolts on the water pump, chaincase cover, oilpump, heads etc need thread sealant? my manual states nothing about this. thanks

Ive never used any thread sealer on those bolts, as long as the gasket surface was clean and the gasket is good. I always use a little high tac on both faces of the gasket, never a leak yet
