Really think welding a nut on will work. Like said before, if you get a nice weld and let it cool then heat the surrounding area it should wiggle free fairly easy. Tapping to loosen with pressure helps too. Done this more times than I can count and its almost always successful. Keep looking I’m sure a mobile welder or a tech from a local shop could help if needed.
