383 Distributor choices

Helping a friend with his 383 in a 73 Dart. Wants to know what distributor he should buy. Doesn't want the stock system with the ballast resistor.

You did'nt mention if he's replacing the entire ignition system. If so I used the MSD system with the Pro Billet distributor and the 6AL box it was a breeze to convert, and eliminated all the ballast resister wiring.

Sorry about that. Yes he is replacing everything in the system. Doesn't have a ignition box of any sort.
