ok guys I'm putting my 383 short block up for sale. Here are the specs
68 block bored .030 over
Line honed and studded main with arp studs
Mancini billet rear main seal
Reconditioned stock rods. Flash ground and shot peeed. Arp bolts
Speed pro flat top pistons with moly rings
Mellings high volume oil pump.
Hardened oil pump drive gear
Double roller timing chain
Comp cams 294s cam shaft with lifters.
Milodon road race oil pan and pick up
Fabricated aluminum timing chain cover
440 source harmonic balancer
440 source billet timing pointer set at true top dead center
Arp balancer bolt with 1/2 drive adapter
This entire set up was built by dougs racing stables in Washington state. It was competition balanced. I broke the cam in correctly and ALWAYS ran brad penn racing oil in it. It has less then 1500 miles on it and cylinder walls look new!
60 lbs oil pressure at idle hot and over 80 off idle.
This engine ran 11.60's in my dart with performer rpm heads and victor intake. It's a potent little engine that will run for a very long time. I just went stroker and freeing up some room in shop.
Engine located in puyallup Washington 98372.
Willing to ship with agreed upon compensation for crating and delivery to shipping depot.
I take PayPal and personal check. Will ship upon getting payment cleared.
Asking $3000 for the short block as listed. I have intake and carb from this combo that is also negotiable.
