Can’t believe something so elementary got me but maybe I’m just an idiot and overlooking something here…
‘67 Formula S 383 car with an Eddy RPM manifold and a Holley 3310 750. Using an AR Engineering throttle cable bracket for a high rise manifold, it seems the OEM cable is now too long?? They are usually too short after, right?
1st picture is where the cable in the bracket needs to be. Not enough metal sleeve to clamp down on. 2nd picture is how much slack there is down below.
If I pull the slack out, 3rd pic shows where the cable wants to hook up.
