383 with a 471 blower

Found this picture on the internet a while ago. 471 blower on a low deck tunnel ram base
Would I be completely crazy to ever do this? And has anyone on here ever done this?

that looks like a 6-71 blower to me .

I`d say the whole blower would be above the hood, horrible blind spot.
I talked to a guy at our local cruise in with blown b engine in a 70 challenger, said that manifolds were not available and made his own cutting down, I forget exactly which type.

I don't understand the tunnel ram manifold other than it was available and easy. I don't think it would give you any more hp.

Are you sure that's not a 440 block?

Looks like the Flat Pad right there on the driver side front of the block to me that is on a 440.
