Here's an article of swapping a hemi into a 70 Duster. They used the TTI mounts with the biscuit type engine mounts. These were pre-production mounts the newer ones are a bit nicer.
The one reason you might want to stick with the biscuit type mounts is that if you choose a hemi with the car type of accessories, the a/c compressor will hit the drivers side spool mount. I don't "think" (has not been verified) this problem exists with the biscuit type mounts. Either way though you *might* need to trim the passenger side frame rail to clear the low mounted car style alternator (due to production variances some frame rails don't need to be trimmed, while others need to trimmed quite a bit). Thus, for A Bodies, when swapping a hemi and trying to use all the factory accessories, the truck engine with it's accessories mounted up high is an easier install, though in my opinion is not a "clean."
well what I would really like to see is cars that have hemis installed from underneath to see clearance for exhaust on each different mount as i want to run a turbo so i need to see which mount is going to be easier to make headers for. And because of that i do need to run the truck timing cover.
Thanks Bill
If your interested in maximizing header clearance you might want to look into an Alter-k-tion. It allows you to run car accessories, and greatly increases header clearance.
I was going to run one, but just can't afford it.
Here's a couple of good threads on the swapping the modern hemi into an A-body. There's quite a few pics along with a lot of good info.
