489 is a taper pinion. 8 3/4 after market could be fine or course spline.
8 inch could be a Ford set.

I got the gears in a bunch of parts but I don’t know what case it’s for

Shaft on the pinion tapered or straight. Tough for me to tell from the pic.

More numbers ether 24 or 26 spline courted 4 times came up with this 24 or 26 splines
