The 4-link bracket I designed and had Stratasys print it on a $400,000 Polyjet machine at their company headquarters in Minnesota cost me $108

Really cheap proof of concept.

The shock brackets were printed on a Markforged printer from a Carbon Fiber filled PLA6 filament. They printed them for free because they were interested in the testing results I ran.

You can make some cool stuff on a $400-$1000 printer at home, but if you want the really cool materials there are lots of manufactures that will print on $500,000 to $1,000,000

machines very reasonably. Learning to do CAD really well is the secret to making most things since everyone needs a CAD file.

You can easily print pa6-cf at home. PPA-cf is even stonger and also printable at home.

Did you ever get these laser cut? If not, let me know and I can run them for you. I used to cut brackets for a lot of the big name chassis shops out there...
