4 speed bellhousings?

I have an A-833 4 speed tranny with the 4.35'' retainer bearing. What would happen if i used the bellhousing that has the larger retainer bearing hole?

I believe it will, my Lakewood came with a spacer and fits the one tranny I have perfectly, the other tranny I have has the larger bearing retainer and it doesn't need the spacer.

Pm me the diameter of your bell housing and I'll try and measure mine before I bolt it back together.

You can also replace the bearing retainer to get the right diameter for the bell housing. Go to the Brewers Performance site.
